You will need: permanent markers, ping pong balls, battery operated tea lights, and
something to cut them open with (I used scissors, you can use a knife).
Let your kids decorate the ping pong balls. I found that the permanent markers didn’t
want to work for too long. I’m not sure why, but it was annoying.
Cut an “X” in the bottom of the ping pong ball, but make sure you do it towards the back so the eyeball
will be facing up. If you cut it directly at the bottom, part of your eyeball will be hidden.
Put the ping pong ball on the tea light and you’re done! You can place these on your mantel, in a
window, or even on your porch if you secure them with velcro or something. They will blow away (easily)
if you do not secure them.
Orange doesn’t show up too well when it’s lit up, so use dark colors when possible.
